Guest Veight Guests Posted 28/11/03 01:58 AM Share Posted 28/11/03 01:58 AM Yeah I am a proud L plater, I drive my dads Xr6T around. I wait untill I can actually give it a go on a bit of twist black top. I havent had much driving experience but dad gave me the signal to put the foot down just to see what it feels like but I dont think he meant all the way down, its fast lol. The looks you get at traffic lights are gold. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7703-l-drivers/#findComment-68939 Share on other sites

At our old place, we had an acre and a half so I have driven the cars around since I was 11.In NSW, I'd be elidgable to get my L's in january, but since we moved to queensland, it's july! You knowing the road rules is a good start but it's usually someone else who doesn't know them that you need to worry about. No other traffic on the farm! You need to learn to READ traffic and anticipate peoples mistakes before they even know they are going to make them, and that takes careful time behind the wheel. A dead hero is nobody's hero! Take your time to learn, and do a professional driving course.
