So does anyone know what the actual differences are between FG XR FG F6 and BFII engines? Other than the obvious and compression ratio differences do the FG XR's run weaker rods/pistons etc... Than the others, I've googled and have gotten different answers, I just want to know how far the factory FG XR can be pushed before it's broken as an average

Thanks

even though they have a better piston, it still comes down to the rods. 350rwkws is as high as I would go. the rest of the driveline will cope with that aswell, depending on what you do with your car. guys are getting longevity with 400+ but its still risky.

Is this 100% confirmed? Why would they go to all the effort when they can just throw a blue rocker cover on?

I have read elsewhere fg xr fg f6 pistons have same part number, I have not confirmed this, rdp fg xr6t got 643.5 rwhp with head studs, valve springs, billit oil pump gears, stock other wise.
