I need a new one and was wondering what is the best option for my use. The car is rarely used, occasional cruises and weekender and eventually get it down the qtr mile. What should I look at getting??

A std replacement might be ok, maybe one with a bit more CCA? Could always spend the extra $$$ and get an Optima, will last ages..

I just replaced mine yesterday with a Century 57EF which is not the ultra hi performance one but even still it has 550 CCA whereas the one I ripped out was a 450CCA Mercury (stock battery? - what was yours?) It did last 4 years. However my biggest concern for the future is having enough charge when needed and it not being started that often is always a concern too. Also contemplating other types of batteries and placement of it also.Dillz love ya work on the neons. Nothing connected atm Maybe I should get another battery for my next planned project though. LOL. Get yourself a projecta AC250B $48 on ebay . Will keep you battery fully charged.

JB HIFI have yellow tops at the moment on special fir $320, well Narre Warren JB does, great battery for price. Mine was cop car and that's what they use to run there crap they have wired up in there.
