If you have modded or done a lot of Ks service the ZF pan , filter and fluid.

Give it a bit of some spirited driving so the adaptive tech learns your driving style

Your diff bushes might also be shagged

Its a ute :secret:

I say ex cop car, does it have reverse sensors? Marks on dash dead giveaway. Push passenger seat right back and check left side transmission tunnel carpet, see if covered up with 3 plastic caps or carpet cut offs. If it has them ex cop car which dealer should have told you.

True as, my F6 is an ex-chaser and the only way I could find that was pulling passenger seat back and looking in the back of the books. However was very well looked after....no marks on dash etc

I'd investigate its service history - ie, if one dealer was servicing it in nsw - ring them up and ask what the last service they did to it (if they say 100,000 then you know there's an issue).

also - you might be able to track down the previous owner.

tyre places also keep KM details if you can find out who did the last tyre set (should have only had one set for those kms)

the odometer reading is stored in the pcm also, IDS software can not go backwards with the odometer reading only forwards. you can reset the odometer 3 times if the car has driven less than 20 ks from new that is all
