Only a couple of days to get used to it and probably a week to be as dexterous as my right hand. It feels strange now if I use the mouse in the right hand. I recon the arms would feel like falling off after a while. Quite a few years back, I heard an interview with some rally driver (Neal Bates I think) and he said that the most confortable possition is to have a bent elbow, and he said if your arm is straight, then if the top of the steering wheel is inline with your wrist, is the most confortable possition to drive. On the subject of the power steering, it is a little stiff at speed, but I don't see anything wrong with it. It certainly helps the stability of the car at speed that's for sure Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7690-hows-your-right-arms/page/2/#findComment-68767 Share on other sites

I have and OMG! Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7690-hows-your-right-arms/page/2/#findComment-68805 Share on other sites
cvanxr Member 502 Member For: 22y 6m 17d Location: Country NSW Posted 27/11/03 09:53 PM Share Posted 27/11/03 09:53 PM Just my right elbow from the window sill. The arm rest doesn't feel quite right. Trying to make an effort to use it now as with the weather warming up I can feel my right arm slowly cooking when it is on the window. :( As for gears and stuff I'm left handed so no probs there. You know, something a bit more appropriate to match my physique.Maybe some of you good forumphiles could give me some suggestions...............?
