Hey all, just chasing some advice on replacing all the forward light globes (headlights, hi-beams, foglights) on my G6ET. I'm new to Ford's and so far it seems Ford engineers HATE everyone.

I have worked out that to gain access to the foglights you need to remove the splash guards from the wheel well, but there is limited room to work and finding it hard to get the connector loose. The headlights........well they just seem imposible!

Yeah I was lookin into this as I want white lights, as far as I could tell unless you go HID's you won't be able to match the foggies to the headlights?

yep the high beams are a pain to do without taking crap out, dont bother. the normal driving lights are piece of cake. foggies are easy as too.

just turn the wheel full lock, undo the clips that hold the wheel arch plastic to the bumper and pull aside, grab a torch chuck it in the front bumper and chuck your arm in, pretty darn simple once you see in there what to do.

iv put in 4300K headlights and foggies in. the foggies are NOT the same as headlights, the foggies are more yellow, they prob need to be 5000K to match 4300K headlights.

I may try 5000K all round.

Yea the low beams and parkers are simple. Haven't bothered about the foggies, no real point. High beams are fine for me too, just blue visions in the low beams.

When I did mine I just had to wriggle it from side to side to get it loose, was a fair bit of force involved to get it off though
