Just use a fine micron one and change it regular. Seems suspended particles are the problem from what a mechanic friend told me. I'm not really sure on the life span of the oil though...or whether it even has one. I expect water would evaporate off regularly when the box heats up. I am running 324kw's atw and this fluid is superb. after 5000km's I have inspected the fluid it has barely changed colour. Not sure how I would get on with the flush without the proper gear, I've never done one before. I wonder if ZF have an agent here? Its pretty hard to hold trust on some workshops these days, my last car had the 4 speed auto which I got serviced at a transmission specialist locally! then found out they were pulling a swifty with every local FORD dealership.
