Can anyone tell me the difference in all these containers?

Red Lid bottle is ford spec =$55 in Australia

Black Lid bottle is bmw jag benz spec =$23.50 in USA

white lid bottle is range rover spec =$32 in UK

All prices are for 1L bottles off ebay I assume they are exactly the same stuff just marketed in different bottles in different countries???

You can find it for $25/28 a litre in Aus if you look around. Motospecs is a good place to start.

Your not wrong Shyfrd, guess that's why his workshop was empty and the other one was a 2 day wait. Lots of sharks out there in the ocean.

ended up getting the lifeguard fluid, so my next question is what kind of pump are people using when doing there services at home, last time I used a cheap and nasty 1L hand pump from supercheap and sh*t got messy and seeing as this "liquid gold" isnt cheap I dont really wanna make a mess again...

got my ZF flushed with Transmax Z today. didnt take it for a flog or anything but it appears to have fixed the rev wiggle issue I was having prior. guy said that the old fluid looked pretty gross, it was all brown and quite runny and smelled burnt so was worth doing.

only real thing ive noticed that's quite different is the hesitation when giving it juice. it just drops and goes now rather than slightly hesitating. the gear changes in D also feel a little firmer with much less slip and flare which is also good. so far im happy!

for anyone who is intrested the gulf western oil wich is approved for zf has been used truck load of times now and none of the tranzmax z gremlins it feels and opperates the same as genuine oil just without the price tag. this is highly recomended and many thousands of kms have been raced up on stock, modified and highly modified turbos now.

just an idea 150 for 20 ltr barrel at repco

120 for filter kit at motorspecs

and the old 4lts hand pump set up is fine to do the work its messy period

just another thing id like to add, the flush and service has all but eliminated the 2nd to 1st gear lurch I was getting which was noticeable. this is probably the thing im now most happy about. when coming to a stop you can barely feel the down shifts, even into first. very happy!

may try Syntrans next time I flush, just tuner recommended Transmax this time.
