Removed Centre Muffler - Car Struggling To Push Revs

U said that u had taken the middle muffler out so the only one left is the rear so unbolt the rear one closest to the tips and see if it is still doing it

When you "changed" the cat, did you get it tuned?

If you put in a high flow cat and didn't... And gave it WOT... You've probably f*cked your engine...

im with worm, I didnt think to ask wether you put a high flow cat in or not.

lo dont scare him on stock tune changing your cat wont wreak anything if anything it will over boost and prob go into limp mode but when I changer my cat in my ba turbo it didnt do anything I drove around like it for weeks before I got it tuned

thanks for the productive comments boys, and I just replaced the cat with a standard cat again.. I took out the rear muffler so what do you guys suggest I do? its my first xr6t and I love it with a passion, still learning boys!

ok guys, I had a proper look today and yes the CENTRE muffler was removed, yeah I know laugh it up lol... anyway had a look at the rear muffler and have no idea how I can take it off?

from what ive gathered its either the cat or the rear muffler that could be causing this?

You can't take the rear off mate.

The previous comments about "unbolting" the rear muffler aren't right IMO - rear pipes go all the way to the cat (well, they do on BA/BF)

Yes it could be either. Take it to an exhaust place and they can do tests on heat etc to see where the problem is and replace accordingly :spoton:
