Periklis Member 67 Member For: 14y 5m 9d Posted 10/09/11 06:17 AM Share Posted 10/09/11 06:17 AM hello all,after having a look at the centre.muffler removal thread I decided to go out and get mine done, the guy at exhaust world in nth melb just contnued the twi. pipes through and removed muffler.first day everything was fine, had a slightly louder and nice tone, now second day and it is struggling to get through gears, cars lost alot of performance, and makes a really funny exhaust noise when driving, asif its struggling to flow, is this a back pressure issue, why doesnt anyone have this problem? the car js completely stock Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All the issues you have other than shifting, sounded terrible and no power.Basically, I was told that the rear muffler collapsed due to the fact a centre wasn't there (apparently) . When I took the rear out also as per centre all was back to normal so it clearly was an issue.Not sure if that is the same as you, but it is possible the rear has collapsed.
