I was hoping that it was going to quiten down a bit with an oil change, it has slightly reduced some noise, especially in 2nd, which is exceptionaly harsh, 3rd is smooth as is 4th.I was told by the parts dealer that they take 1.8 litres. I put close to 2.5 litres (probably spilt a bit).I have read elsewhere that filling the T5 up to 4.85 litres reduces noise considerably (or is that the T56?).Should I fill it up some more until overflows out of the fill up plug?p.s oil used was Penrite Gear oil 75.I have read about Mainlube/Redline quitening boxes down a bit, but I aint forking out that kind of cash every oil change?
