Haha was a mates place anyways. Good excuse to get away for the weekend and sink some brews while working on a sunburn.

Turned out pretty decent, until we had to uncompact all the sand we compacted as it wasnt the right level, then hand compact it as we no longer had the compactor lol. Going to be interesting come winter when all the water runs over the pavers, might see some sinkage!

After quite a bit of driving and locating somewhere to replicate the noise over and over, we (Ralph and I) finally found a spot around a roundabout where it was happening over a smallish pothole.

Round and round and round and round we went, probably looking like total knobs and bang bang bang was the sound. While driving off trying to think of what it could be, after originally thinking it could be the aluminium housing that they put above the exhaust on the BF's towards the back (where it goes over the diff) we then thought - handbrake (as I recalled someone mentioned it in this post). Another U-turn and a few more spins around the roundabout with the handbrake pulled up 2 clicks and whallah. No more banging..

Will try get back to Lukes this Friday/Weekend to jack her up, pull some parts off and see if we can see which part of the handbrake cable or other related part is giving me this headache.
