I don't think the thing against Watson will stand.

At the time of using the drug, it was NOT a banned substance as releases by the AOD or whatever they are called stated, so how do you do someone for something that they were taking legally, when only half way through the season it was deemed illegal? (from this point I assume he stopped taking it?)

Whilst all the details are not clear.

It's unknown if the drug was illegal at the of taking. The only reason it's illegal at this time is it has not yet passed trials. So until it has it cannot be prescribed for use. So on a technicality the debate on legality is still in dispute.

Then you had advice to several sporting teams which are multi million dollar business that WADA allowed Stephen Dank to use this drug. Now several football clubs including board and medical staff. Believed this.

Now the players were told by medical staff that what they were taking was cutting edge and legal.

Now how much due diligence do we expect the players to take. The fault lies somewhere between Stephen Dank being outright fraudulent and the board/medical staff not doing enough due diligence.

Now all this above is only a summation from trawling everything the media has released.

An investigation by definition is "The search for the truth, in the interests of justice, within the specifications of the law".

The law states in lay terms that a person or body until such times has been proven guilty by a competent authority that they are innocent. That is not in dispute and is unaquivicable.

It's easy to snipe and call for blood without knowing the facts. Unless you have facts that you care to share I ask you to state your case why Jobe Watson should be stood down or lose his Brownlow at this time.

Kim are you a Bombers supporter?

Why do you think Stephen Dank has decided not to front up to ASADA?

Why do you think Essendon sacked him in the first place? The club is far from innocent in all this.

Bombers shouldnt just be stripped of points. The points should go to the teams theyve beaten.

As for brownlow,

No mate I'm a Carlton supporter. I'm just sick of the trend of social norms punishing outside the law.

My opinion is someone will pay and I suspect the club will and there will be more sackings. Justice must seem to be done.

Lets look at the flip side though. If the AFL or Essendon stand down Jobe and he loses income. If he then is later shown to have no case to answer for and sues. Who's going to pay. Not all the keyboard warriors around the country.

Let justice take its course and enjoy the season.

I know the of WADA has made unequicicable statements. I invite him to substantiate them in a court of law.
