does anyone have pictures or a step by step guide to installing a FPV Start button? I have a genuine FPV button with wiring loom etc so it shouldn't be that hard should it??

They're for *beep* :spit:

Mate, I would think the plug ins for the loom should be there. If not, any decent auto elec should be able to cut her in. If I wanted to tackle it myself, I'd start by having a look for vacant terminals. Good luck with it.

I used to think the start button was cool until I got one. Maybe it would be cool if you didn't need to put the key in the ignition and turn it anyway. I'm used to it now but still don't see the point. Might help to follow the wiring from the ignition and see if there are any plugs coming off it? Good luck.

There does not seem to be any easy way to get away from the key as it has a coded chip for the smartlock.

My new Jeep has keyless start and entry and does not need the key to be removed from your pocket, My next car will need to have all the bells as whistles that the wifes jeep has as it rocks.

A mate just bought a new Hyundai Tuscon and it has that smart lock thingy.. He has to press a button to unlock the car, then push a button to start the thing. We arrived at our destination and we just walk away from the car and once it senses your a few meters away it auto locks itself. Pretty cool.. Was so funny trying it out, cause he had just bought it, and the idea of just walking away from the thing at a shopping centre without locking it was pretty weird..
