Im pretty sure there's a topic in the pitlane performance section of the forum about a customer car that had an EPA with a Stage 2 cobra kit and then got it passed EPA with the Nizpro stage 2 kit, I think they tuned it up to pass though the emissions test but that was about it if memory serves me...

I'm still dreading the day I hae to prove my nizpro kit (full stage 2) is legal!

Our nizpro car as is, got full roadworthy for rego in Vic and then went straight over the WA pit to transfer to WA rego.

A roadworthy isn't too bad, as all that's checking is the vehicle is safe.

Doesn't mean the car is legal/compliant or a report of the cars mechanical condition.

Emissions test on the other hand is completely different.

This one

Be interesting to know how much power it made with the stock exhaust back on and detuned, and how driveable it was.

I got done for ride height with a full car load.. Didn't change a thing, went to vic roads, the old guy wheeled the thing under and it didn't hit a thing, he asks me "why did they get ya" asif I'm wasting his time, I told him they must have been bored and drove off... Don't think it was a major defect like u said you got.. But as I read above, if its just a roadie I think you'll be fine, EPA is a different story..

From what I could see in the third link, as long as the engine doesn't have leaks etc for a roadworthy certificate it is ok?

Or is EPA now a part of the roadworthy?

Just take it in and see what they knock. You might be lucky and they just go over the norm and all sweet when your driving out with a green slip. If you tell them you only got done for ride height, they might not look into it too much. Depends on who you get I spose.
