Hey guys

Recently got myself a gold sticker for excellent ride height. Obviously they can't have a pussy slayer like mine on the road, guys will just get too jealous, women will get hurt running across Fwy's trying to get to it.

Anyways, with the NEW roadworthy laws in Vic that require photos Emailed to VicRoads, I want to know if whats under my bonnet will be ok. Does it need to be photographed?

The rules state------Copy/pasta

A roadworthy inspection mainly covers the major safety related items, including:

wheels and tyres

steering, suspension and braking systems

seats and seat belts

lamps and reflectors

windscreen, and windows including front windscreen wipers and washers

the structure of the vehicle itself

other safety related items on the body, chassis or engine.

So as long as my Ute is Safe (Stock height, New tyres as old ones were walled, Brakes are only 2 months old, done when I got last canary, and there's no BOVs, Pods enclosed, will it be ok??

For those that scan or TL/DR

WILL MY CAR PASS WITH A PLENUM/ ETC FITTED. NOTHING HAS BEEN CUT TO FIT IT.

in Vic, the car must meet the adr and emission specs of the model, if the tester is doing things 100% he will knock the mods, although you may get a tester that might not be up to what has been moded.

Only EPA/ADR legal stuff for these car's is Nizpro and APS gear, but im sure you have to run "ALL" there gear for it to be legal..ie cooler, injector's, pod & airbox etc etc...

Do you need to get a roadworthy for just a height defect? I thought you could just jack it & clear it?

Majority of testers in Vic will pass the mods as long as the car isn't loud, don't have a bov, emissions gear hooked up and have your pod closed up. Put the stock cat back on (if you have one) to be safe to avoid any questions about noise. You'll pass with a plenum.

For some reason it was only heIght, but a major canary. Major = roadworthy.

So nizpro wont pass this either without ADR compliance?
