To settle the "I told you not to buy a ford" meet up with some forum members around wooly and im sure they will wipe the grin off his face.

Or yer a tune for under 1k and he will have to spend atleast another 5k to get back in front. If he does that, then you spend another 1k on cat and injectors, but will need a retune so stay friendly with your tuner.

You see though, if you had a ute we wouldnt be having this discussion. Utes have more power.

Drive to Sydney and see a bloke at Autotech engineering

By the name of "spiro". I get all my work done there along

with alot of other forum members. He is one of the best tuners

In Sydney. His quality is 2nd to none and he is actually a site

Sponsor.

Then line your mate up at the drag strip and make sure there are people there to record it :)

By "faster" are you talking off the line or roll ons on your private road?

It will free it up a lot I'd say, but power will suffer after a couple of runs or on warmer days with stock cooler. Hard to avoid. If you can stretch it, injectors, cat and tune should be respectable I'd think? Anyone got a 1/4 mile time from a 06/06+ BF or B series F6 with those basic mods?

Even removing the center muffler is cheap for power , shouldn't cost more then $100 ! Could your exhaust fitter do the CAT and center muffler for $400 then your basic setup of what my fellow members have said :spoton: then your gunna whip any clubby's arse off the line. :3gears:
