Today is day 4 so I'm pressed to have the tint removed and have it inspected before the deadline anyway, so I think the window swap idea is out (Although it is a good one!)I might just go for those acid rush doors anyway Steve - mmmmm horror chicken twistiy I am a little concerned about the inspection. Everything seems pretty much fine but I can't afford to be hit with a big job (Or be without a car) like suspension or any serious engine issues. Tint a car Bibra lake will pull it off and replace with OCTANE tint which is darkest legal ( looks black not green) for about $400. Take it over the PIT at Bibra lake . Its called ZEDS mechanical , book in and there is no waiting. Get the tinting pulled off, go over the pit and then get it retinted (legal) at your leisure. Not a thing out of place, but a small coolant leak! He said it was only very minor and that it would not keep the car off the road. I booked the car in next Wednesday for a new $40 or $50 hose. Honestly couldn't be any happier!Even passed with the FordXR6T forum sticker on the windshield! After the tint removal fee and the inspection fee, all the time sitting at the centre and the 8 hours of cleaning the car I'm stoked that it all ended up going well.If anyone needs an inspection in Perth, I highly recommend ANG automotives. Angelo is a great bloke; does a great job and is very fair. Took me out to the car on the hoist and explained everything which I found really helpful. Was out of there in under an hour!Also, if anyone needs anything done with Tint, Luke's brother in law is excellent as well.
