I was in love with the 2007 Sti after driving one and had planned out a list of future mods, joined rex forums etc. Then I went to look at one that was at a Expensive Daewoo dealership and got persuaded to have a geez at a VE SS and realised that I wouldn't mind the heap of extra features the the Sti doesn't have. VE SS is rubbish IMO so it wasn't long til I was at ford getting blown away by a XR50T . I can't help but think what life would be like if I had of gotten the suby...I still drool whenever I see one. Got told it was a 10 month wait?!!! We bought the F6 for me & a BMW 320d for her instead.I still think about the ISF and the C63. Will pick one of them up second hand soon I think. If I wasn't set on a fg f6 I would've probably got another one. They are two totally different cars and both awesome in their own ways. Took a VY SS for a drive and wasn't excited at all.. then saw XR6T's were in my budget so I took one for a drive, would never go back to an N/A engine again... the rush is addictive.. Drove a vz sedan with the 6ltr & 6spd manual, honestly thought it was rubbish, I drove a ve ss straight after & loved it but with no real performance car experience prior everything was fast & good. Was almost ready to hand over the cash & the mrs said no you can't buy a v8 but she liked the ford dealers demo car so a coupe of test drives later I owned my first turbo & the rest is history.
