I need peoples thoughts on a problem Ive got

currently if I drive over 70km a metal on metal sound appears from the front right wheel on my bf f6. The car has done 130,000km. I thought possibly the bearing needs lubrication as it doesnt make a noise under 70km. However the further over 70km I go the the louder it becomes and I a thought stuffed bearings always make a noise while driving no matter the speed. The sound doesnt disappear when I put my foot on the brake.

anyone got an idea?

I did a test on way home today, I pulled the wing mirror in and seems to have solved it....although leaves me with another question, why does my wing mirror make a high pitch noise? :roflmbo:

My bf was making a similar noise I replaced the front right to find out the left bearing needed replacing aswell the bearings arnt expensive I payed $266 for the bearings and if your doing it urself ull need either a "1 1/2 or a 32 m socket and it is easy to replace

Even new bearings can be faulty. I have changed both front hubs only to find I still had a noise. I thought the noise must have been coming from somewhere else. 2yrs later the noise becomes louder and clearly from the front LHS. Changed the hub again and fixed. So a faulty new hub caused me a hell of alot of headscratching.

Foonin, I have the same problem. Though it is in my front rhs wheel. I couldn't place the noise at first but I jacked the car up and spun the front wheel. It should be completely silent but it wasn't. I've put it down to a wheel bearing. Hoping to have it fixed within the next week.
