Best Tyre Black?

I was wondering which tyre black would be the best at reducing or even eliminating the stuff being splatted(while driving)by the tyres on the paint work?

If it's the overspray causing the problem would it be better to use a foam applicator?

I've tried expensive and cheap products but I seem to get the same problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.post-43630-0-20555300-1314416157_thumb.j

have you tried not to put as much on and just apply a little bit with out excess amount. I found putting it on and leaving it to set/dry for a little while before I drove that I didnt notice any splatter

Never noticed it using meguires 'shine'. I put it on end of the day of a wash and let it dry, all good no splater next day- I have toxic paint and no splatter showing.

They all splash off to some extent. I usually apply then wipe the tyre with a microfibre cloth.

Anything commercially available at retail stores like Supercheap, Autobarn etc... Is pretty crap to be honest.

The best stuff I have used so far is Zaino Z-16. It is water based, dries to the touch and absolutely NO sling whatsoever. It gives the tyres a more natural looking satin finish rather than glossy. The tyres look 'new' rather than wet. A little goes a long way too...I apply a small amount to a foam applicator and rub it on my tyres and it seems to go on forever.

It's also good for freshening up rubber hoses etc... in your engine bay. You can buy it from waxit.com.au.

I use the cheap stuff from super cheap.. got the big 'Tyre Shine' on the can, I've never had a problem with it. Give the tyres a generous coating after a wash and pretty much drive after.. Colour is phantom but I have never noticed it..

I use 'so easy' in the 1 litre bottle. Can't remember who makes it (CRC maybe). I put into one of the little pump sprayers. Dries to a natural looking semi gloss. Normally spray on then wipe the excess of with a rag. That or apply directly to the rag then rub on.

That's what I use...good stuff.

Go for a quick spin around the block and wipe off any that's come off on the guards,,no more comes off, and it's super shiney...love it.

BTW, mine T is Yellow/Rapid so you can see everything on it.
