Great ground attack aircraft but a b**ch to get off the ground due to excessive torque,a lot of pilots lost because of it. Also found wanting at high altitude but exceptional performance on the deck. The Tempest is best remembered for its ability to down the V1 buzz bombs over London during the latter stages of WW2.

As the FPV Territory is (rumoured?) to be called Hurricane, then that theme is being continued. Perhaps the complete name should be FR6/FA6 Hurricane (Ford RWD/AWD 6 ...)Maybe FPV could then do an F4 Spitfire (Turbo Focus!)

If they don't get the substance and detail right the name will mean naught. Its starting to look a little crowded at the top of tree and the room for error is decreasing with every iteration. Posted 12/02/04 02:51 AM Share Posted 12/02/04 02:51 AM I have a mate who saw a Lightening strike colored BA. It had a body kit very similar to a GT with the badges all taped up. This was being wheeled into a advertising film studio in Oakleigh Vic. Geea.

For example BMW Mercedes Audi. FPV so far?

I'm sick of letters and numbers for car names.(even thoough they still had to add F6, but shoulda been F16). Llets have a look at some.XR6XR8XR6TGTGT-PFPVHSVSSSGTST3TE-50TS-50TL-50LTD'T' Series (*beep*)XU-6R8You get the message. As Plonky said, bout time someone got a bit of passion for the brand.
