johnopaul Member 36 Member For: 18y 3m 3d Posted 24/08/11 02:16 PM Share Posted 24/08/11 02:16 PM (edited) hey guys, I had my stock fg xr6 turbo out at wsid tonight,I was hoping to run a 12.99 or better, but I thought low 13's -may be more realistic, especially as its the first time ive had this car out there,anyway, heres are my runs.1st pass - 12.8@111mph 2nd pass -12.6@111mph 3rd pass - 12.5@111mph 4th pass - 12.4@111mph ( but iam sure I backed off early)5th pass - 12.5@111mph (wheel tramped a little, had to ease off a little)last pass - 12.37@112mph with a 1.886 60ft on falken 452'scar has mid 80,000kms, is ex police, stock tune, stock exhaust, only mod is a xr8 snorkel and k&n filter, I put them in today in hope it may help me crack a 12.99was a good night Edited 24/08/11 02:20 PM by johnopaul Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I got 13.59 in my BFII with F6 intake and K&N filter. Ex HWP.Crazy time for your FG man!! Stock tune, nice one.Was it late and very cold? I ran my best time stock as one of the last runs of the night and it was c-c-cold.Keep it up! Get a dyno readout if you can for fun...though they vary greatly, maybe we can compare other cars on here to yours if you go to a tuner others have used. Looks like one of the freaks! I think it run the 12.4 before 8.00pm, and would have gone quicker as I backoff early.later on I think it was around 15 degrees on the display.as for driving, tyres I had at 22psi, 21psi last run.traction control off,burnout in performance mode, not a large burnoutstall against brakes to around 1800-2000 but not for very long as soon as the rpm got there, I let it goand I left in performance mode the whole time, no manual shifting Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had to take mine off though as it was too powerful.Must work on my launch, haven't ever gotten under the 2 second 60 foot mark and it's clearly doable on street tyres.
