As I've said a few times boys, I could be cagey with my replies and not give people an accurate reflection. Other than the joy (and pain) I get from modding my own car, I get as much satisfaction from helping others. So I will always be upfront in my build thread. If that saves someone else some heartache I'm happy with that :)

that's awesome bomber, looks like the young fellas dads day gift was one of the best youv'e had I would guess.

Always a relief to sort these probs out, would be great if ford had have put the actuator in a more accesable spot though, garked the shyte outta my hands trying to put the c clip back on mine in place, stupid ford, just stupid.

^^^ yes it's in a bit of a sh*t spot but they may not need to take it off actually. Provided the preload is ok, they just need to open the valve (maybe use air) then wind the nut back away from the actuator body and lock off at the shaft. Given the amount of thread showing, it would clear the bracket easily then.

Good on you Bomber for persuading and finding the actual cause of the issue.

So much for these phaarking gun tuning shops and mechanics.......
