Supported 375rwkw no issues in the FG. I'm still aiming for that 375 -400rwkw so I think it will get it done. Makes the system pretty simple. I'd just do that Herrod hi flow reg in the factory rail again also. Keen to hear what people a squeezing out of a 460 Walbro. https://www.efihardware.com/products/2550/Installation-Kit-Alloy-Tank-for-Ford-BA-FPV-MRA

Had plenty left should be be good for high 400s on E85 Edited 06/06/17 02:07 PM by arronm

Obviously it would support a fair bit more on 98. If I wanted to push it any further I'd be going another 460 on a surge tank.

Zf equipped car. The new procharge turbo looks the goods. Is it a totally new turbo or does it retain some of the original ford/garrett parts? He currently runs a single with an external lift. These are a good thing as pumps are submerged, aside from connections. You also have some headroom of course as you can slot in another one. If I want E85 spec though it would appear Bosch 044's are out. Interestingly, specs suggest 300lph. I always thought they delivered more. So running twins - three including the lift, potentially only nets 600lph but I realise the maths aren't as basic when talking flow. My point is though, that's a lot of extra plumbing and wiring for not a big reward. That's why I guess the twin 460 combos have become popular. I could stitch in a square bulkhead and do a custom hanger that is twin pump capable. More custom fabrication though and I'm trying to reign that in, lol. A single 460 would most likely get it done and other than stitching the mounting ring on the tank, it makes life pretty simple. I could always run a front mounted surge later on if I push further but given I've seen my combo in another XW ute run 10.40 at 142 with under 400rwkw, it's not really needed.

Gets new ceramic bearings and metal cage etc then rebalanced with the new front wheel. I opted for the genuine comp cover also.

Iam making that with pierberg that only flows 350. Just use use one of these. Of course a surge is alway recommended http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-BA-BF-XR6-TURBO-XR8-WALBRO-TIA485-2-E85-BIG-POD-FUEL-PUMP-and-ASSEMBLY-/282082869374?hash=item41ad73007e%3Am%3AmH7g5v8HOZbjjWjNUcfzs9w&_trkparms=pageci%3A3a8b5a56-4b1f-11e7-8517-74dbd1805e6b%7Cparentrq%3A8021c44f15c0a9e48765b4cffff89200%7Ciid%3A2 Maybe throw in one of these as well should be able to mount it some where Or just use 255 walbro intank and single 460 process west surge plenty of options. al10s Member 112 Member For: 11y 6m 25d Posted 07/06/17 05:28 AM Share Posted 07/06/17 05:28 AM Walbro 460 limits. With the walbro 460 at roll racing,it was fine I think 250-300m max race length. When I went to the drags, about 3 weeks ago, the car launched well 1.6 60 ft and just after half track I felt a very light fuel surge,so I lifted straight off. Spewing really, 1.6 60ft and lifting at half to 3/4 track still rolled thru for 11.2 so not too bad. So I think the walbro 460 at the drags at that power level is not quite right. So ive removed it and put in a kpm twin pump unit the 1000hp unit. I had 1 of these in my last fg and found it good. So maybe a kpm module with the twin pumps in either 1000hp or 1500hp would do your project. Your turbo looks like it will do the job nicely. Im contemplating doing something like this to my stock f6 turbo.
