It only happens on deceleration. Something to do with the decel fuel cut off setting. Luke knows what it is. Unburnt fuel in the exhaust.

Looks mad either way, but I never get to see it myself.

Thanks to SteveR for both those videos.

Torque Time this morning at QR - first outing with the new tune. The car ran strong and hardly lost a sprint. Several came up after wondering what combo I had because they were astounded how quickly the car accelerated.

It's a fantastic rig. Takes a very quick car to beat it point to point. The only couple that did arrived on trailers :)

Power is fine. Reliability from here is the focus. I'm actually pretty chuffed with how the car is turning out despite the many hurdles :)

What tyres you using to get it to hook up?

I've only driven mine at night with 350 on 98 and 1st is completely useless but 2nd is sliding around too (zero degrees at night though). That's on 275 nexen n'fera's

You've got to feed it in. I never really open it right up until into third or I'll short shift second then wind third out. It's about sensible throttle management really.

I certainly rate these much better than the Federal 595 Evo's that these replaced. I don't think they'd be invo sticky but...are near silent and brilliant in the wet too (not that the car sees much rain, lol) and super comfortable. Very nice street tyre imo.

Calling into PWR hopefully tomorrow to talk to them about an FG engine oil cooler kit. I like the way they've done the B series version. Will offer to use my car to mock-up if they're interested in producing it. If they're keen we might look at a group buy or something.

Would like to see that.

I have spoken to them about it before, they said it's just the lines and mounting bracket that would need to be changed to suit the FG.

I think the sandwich plate has a different thread or something too so it can take the smaller filter. Someone might be able to confirm that.
