Seems fine thus far. I cured it with a heat gun prior to fitting. Smelt a bit after heating up again with the manifold but hasn't changed in appearance. Given the stuff can be used on pot belly stoves I think it should go ok on heat shields. If not, I'll get them professionally ceramic coated.

Ceramic coating would have to be better.but I got a price to do manifold exhoust and intake plus some extra stuff .the price was $400-$500 .all done in black .bomber that was a good idea to use a hair drier as the paint needs heat to set properly . I did not do that
