They put them on the hot side pipe which MTQ recommended also as as they reckon it gives a better boost input to the solenoid. Just drill out, back nut with lock tight on and done. Or if really fussy, get someone to weld a nut on but that's probably going overboard. Don't know if the alloy piping would be thick enough to drill and tap on it's own though. Maybe. Either way, easily done. In this case, on the tube end at the front of the car for easy access. The good thing about this also is it removes any chance of getting alloy fillings in the comp cover or screwing up the thread taping etc. Much easier to get right in the tube or repair if any error is made.
