Had the car serviced today and the right front was starting to delaminate - grrrr! A closer look found both the 595 Evo's had issues so binned them. Basically, they were out of shape on both the inner and outers.

I had the same problem with 595evo's on the front of my car. Replaced them with Invo's and upon inspection found the 595's where over 2years old at date of fitting. The most annoying part is they didn't come from Honest Don's Online Tyre Store they came from my local tyre power.

Mine came apart at the sidewall to shoulder merge point. I am PEDANTIC about wheel alignments and tire pressures. I wont run federals or buy from Tyrepower again.

How are the brembo's treating you?

Yes the Brembos are a vast improvement. I think the pads could be a little more aggressive but then I'd start to chew my lovely new T3's. They're silent and shed little dust so I'll leave them.

The diff bush upgrade delayed progress a little. Still deciding on Turbo. I have an advantage in that MTA are local. I'm liking the MTA750 and have been given a very keen price including a ported housing and actuator all set up ready to bolt on. I know the 750 will sit under the GTX3582R and precision in top end but definitely spool quicker than GTX or FG F6 unit. I'm also only chasing 500hp and don't want to give up too much bottom end.

I still want to run the crossover also so by the sounds, that rules out the new precision. Not because of 4" but because the housing comes too far forward meaning the muffler delete would foul on the power steer pump unless I cut 'n shut it. Also, there's no bolt on actuator bracket yet for FG for the precision unit. I don't mind changing joiners etc but don't want to fabricate stuff. The 750 is proven and again, Mark is local. Any problems - he's just down the road.

The latest thoughts with the zorst are maybe keep the rear 2.5" twin xforce s/s rear section but go custom from diff to dump in 3.5" single s/s with a bigger muffler. The reason for this is I like the current note but want to shut it up a little bit whilst still increasing flow. The alternate is to sell the whole system on flea bay and start again but s/hand zorsts even in polished s/s don't fetch much. By retaining the existing rear saves a fair a bit on labour as that's the fiddly bit with the zorst plus I'll only need the one new muffler. Luke (Motor Fab) will just do a 3.5" to twin 2.5" merge on the outlet or, I'll try and source a 3.5" in by 2.5" twin out. Either way his work is top shelf so it will be awesome. Nothing beats a really nice custom that fits perfectly. Do yourselves a favour and look at his facebook page. If I didn't become a plumber I wish I'd got into fabrication like this. He did his time building V8 supercars at Stone Bros before going out on his own so you can imagine how good he is.

Bomber, I run the precision with the crossover. Replaced the muffler only because it was restrictive.

Cheers
