Knew the 76 was 4" front with .6 cover but didn't know 'till tonight it was still 2" hotside. No biggie as I'm already running a 2.5" pipe kit. Means one less silicon joiner :) Still going to run the crossover with growler and plazmaman muffler delete. Will just need a 90mm - 100mm 45 deg elbow to plumb the inlet.

This is shaping up to be a great mod I think bomber! I wish I did that turbo. You HAVE to do a turbo side intake though it makes a huge difference

Little update. Ran into a bit of a snag with the exhaust but no biggie. Basically, the x-force 4" dump & cat combo doesn't bolt straight up to their catback without adding a new Y merge piece to centre muffler also. Fkn stupid. Means I've gotta bin a near new 2.5" twin s/s mid section. So, looking at another dump and cat option now.

Now that the box is serviced and I heard another milkshake story last week, I've bitten the bullet and bought the new PWR exchanger. I'm just not prepared to risk it and after seeing the unit in the flesh, it's a well made thing. If nothing else - piece of mind.

With the turbo, I'm pretty lucky in that Mr Turbo is 2klm from my house. Mark is going to build me his spec GTX3576R. We'll be using the identical 11 blade 58mm wheel etc. It will also be in a .60 cover. He's going to do the 38mm port and flapper mod and set up the 12psi actuator ready to fit. I may get the cover polished and ceramic coat the housing and manifold also - see how we go.

Still looking forward to your results with the 76

The .60 cover is standard on the 76 from memory.

Im still undecided between the 76 and 82

When do you think youll be getting it sorted and tuned ?

Ill be waiting for both results.. eagerly..

We sort of know what to expect from the 82's.. its the 76's that are the unknown territory

As much as Im curious as to what both will do.. its the driveabilty that's got me wondering...

I'll have results on the Mr Turbo 82 (with 0.7 cover) next week all things going well.
