PW are just about to release a revised version of their surge + pump combo which will be on my shopping list early next year.

Cause ATM my car has PW stage 2 cooler, PW street air box, injectors, and very shortly xforce and valve springs done, and then after that I'm getting a lot bigger turbo, Im wanting around 380-400 so if that is possible I will need a surge tank?? First impressions are very good. Keeping in mind I didn't skim the discs as they're not very old, so they'll take a little longer to bed in.They have a nice progressive feel and only need a little bit of heat to get working. Unlike the A1RM's, they don't have that dead early pedal. When bedding in, they didn't suffer from fade. They came grooved - not chamfered. I was advised to fit them 'as is' which I did. I don't think they'll have the bite of the A1RM's under severe conditions but I expected that. What they have given is much better cold/warm temp performance and a nicer everyday pedal. Not much dust left when bedding in and zero noise. To be fair, the A1RM's were pretty quite also. The rotors had a nice even look about them when I got home as in the heat looked to be evenly spread. All said, think I've got the combo spot on now. RDA slotted rotors, QFM HPX on rear, Remsa's on front, braided hose kit, penrite dot 4.

The fronts do make a bit of dust - probably on par with the A1RM's. I think the basic straight slotted rotors have a fair bit to do with that. I suspect the T3's with the curved slot design would be a little better in that regard. All things considered, it's an improvement over stock. Time over, given my rims clear, I'd probably spend the 2k on the 6 piston front kit + the basic RDA slotted rotor on the rear to match with braided hose kit. So, around 2.3k ish. The current combo with pad swaps has cost all up just under 1k. If you just want to improve it a little bit then just fit the Remsa's with the OEM rotors. That will set you back about $200. If you like a hard pedal then do the braided hose kit as well $250.

Plenty will know what I mean. Truth be known, I've been strugging to justify two street rego'd cars for myself for a while as I just don't have the weekend work anymore to keep both. Don't like the prospect of an 'ego' XR as my daily either and really don't want to be without a yoot so I'm thinking of selling the old XH and XR and buying something else. I really like the 50th Anniversary models - Turbo of course Said I'd never buy white again but....think that's the way I'd go if it's going to be the daily.Anyhoo, not going to stress about it. If anybody is chasing a low k (32,000) 300rwkw FG with lots of good gear, shoot me a PM. I'll be chasing early 30's for it.
