As its a ute I wont do the fuel pump yet, and the tuner is Kevin Geary in Christchurch, NZ. I just wish it was sooner now.

What does body shape have to do with it? Your fuel pump will be the weakest link here, followed closely by an inefficient cooler.

Should have gone for a replacement hi flow cat instead of a full system & spent the savings on a cooler package + pump imo.

Good to see it made similar power to a similar ute Henz.

As for the tune side of things for Slash none of the intake side is done yet and wont be for a while, but I am also not going to be pushing huge boost through it as that would just blow the thing up. So in respect of that the stock fuel pump should be plenty for what will be achieved at this stage.

@daztbo the rears had to stay as they have worn the paint under the flaps away so yea, also stops as much crap and tyre getting up the side at the back.

So it did get a little behind as the software had a wee failure when the tuning was happening on the tuesday so got set back about 4hrs and had to carry on today after getting the software sorted.

The idle is excellent for 60lb injectors and man does it sound good, think the clutch will give up next.

Why did your tuner keep the boost so low? Should have thrown 12-13psi into it.

Since the intake side is still completely stock and I didn't want to stress anything I told him the figure doesn't matter and to keep it real safe, which he has done.

Once I do the intake side which will be a while away it will be really different, I'll also do things like anchor locks and oil pump, etc.

His dyno also doesnt do happy readings and it really pulls compared to before, so its got the smile factor really going and man it sounds good.

The boost spike I suspect is to do with a std actuator/flapper and std intake.

edit: With the boost set higher the spike was going alot higher so had to pull it back for that.

Heres the boost/tractive force curves before in blue after in red.
