Only noticable to me when music is on pause, and turn the volume up, I have made sure everything is earthed and using ground loop isolators.have talked to numerous Audio shops and they all say it is from the factory head unit and that FG's electrical system is noisy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

1600dave Donating Members 872 Member For: 13y 10m 17d Posted 02/10/11 12:05 AM Share Posted 02/10/11 12:05 AM I was going to add an amp and sub to my BF, but due to the noise from my ASL boosted/filtered aux in, decided to abandon it and just live with the premium sound.Tried power filters, ground loop isolation, nothing helped.Got the aux kit replaced, tested it in another car and it was fine - some cars are just trouble.Mine is ex-police so maybe they stuffed with it as I have seen cut/spliced wires - who knows.Good luck - aftermarket headunit would be the best bet in my opinion. Seems as though these car are inherently noisy. Best I could do was a LLC into a processor, this got rid of maybe 90% of the noise. Its not noticeable during listening but if you pause the track with no engine running you can still hear a slight hum.
