Im upgrading it because it's cheap insurance for me at the power level I'll be at.

Car was dropped off this morning at Pit Lane Performance. Can't wait to see how it drives afterwards!

Sorry I didn't mean anything by it. I agree fuel pump upgrades are definately great insurance. I just wasn't sure if the intank upgrades were for a different reason to the surge tank.

Good to see another G6E turbo modified. I am positive Mick will get you the best possible results for your mods, I called Mike some time ago(even though I live in Perth) for modification advice as I had problems with a tune I had done here in Perth, his advice lead me gouing to another tuner and to my current mods and he did this knowing I lived interstate and wouldn't likely use his workshop. I can recommend Pitlane even though I've never been there.

The intanks are good but won't future proof. I've spent money twice - we probably all have - so I guess you've gotta try and think about where you want to go. If doing track days then a surge is a must have IMO.

Good luck with the tune - I'm sure Mick will get a good result.

Fark that's like slightly more then normal boost but with heaps more power, need a few pictures asap.

A dyno graph would be good to see it the turbo port actually did anything.

I can't answer that, but would it not really make any difference due to effiency of the turbo so say it ran 18psi it'd probably only be good for another 10rwkw if that, so not really worth it...

I could be wrong though.

Pretty much what I've got planned when warranty runs out.

Was warranty a non issue to go this level and what about insurance.

Are these mod's noted in your insurance policy.

If I can ask, how much did it all cost?

Yep. Doing it easy.

Turbo port definately did work - 12psi flat right through, juuuust tailing off at the end due to the stock exhaust.

Why not go to turbos max boost?

Stock exhaust still. Turbo wont make a whole lot more than that anyway - as Mexicanbatman eluded to.

You gotta pay to play. Simple as that. Insurance isnt a problem with Shannons.

Cost a fair bit. I could have done it a lot cheaper without going for things like the PW stage 3 and the ID injectors. Call up Mick or Bel and they'll set you straight on prices.
