Sorry for the dumb question on fuel pumps but which is the more ideal mod, in tank upgrade or surge tank. If I have a PW surge do I need an in tank upgrade as well.

I would do the 44 and front rail surge combo if I upgraded. It depends on the level of tune mate. If you already have the surge then rather than spend money again perhaps just an intank might be the go. Where is the surge mounted?

The in tank pump in the FGs is a fair bit better then the B series is my understanding. Good for 350+

its a good question but and one I dont understand myself.. Is an in tank pump needed if a surge tank is installed?

sorry if off topic...

Back on topic, that cooler looks nice!!! nice car mate

If you have a surge tank with 044 you still need an in tank pump regardless of where it is mounted. It can be left stock since all it is doing is keeping the surge tank full. The 044 then takes care of the fuel pressure at the engine.

That's why the surge tank with 044 is going to be better. Don't have to touch the fuel tank or internal pump and you automatically fix fuel surge issues.

Cheers for that, got me wondering why would you upgrade the in tank pump alone then.
