Stock-300Rwkw-450...differences?

Mate I just stepped out of a 160rwkw Skyline. (Standard only 3.5" cat-back exhaust); And I test drove a FG XR6 Turbo Ute with Exhaust (dunno if it had anything else done to it, I'm pretty sure it didn't) and it scared me. No doubt I'd soon get used to the power because when I got my Skyline I thought it was too a rocket! But the FG spun through first and second to about 70-80+km.

I can't imagine what 350+rwkw feels like... tbh unless you're going to do track days I'd say it's pretty much pointless for the road. Either way mate if you do end up getting a car with 300+rwkw all I have to say is, don't do anything stupid. Now this part is a given because the temptation will strike you but just don't put other lives at risk.

I wouldn't say pointless...

350 seems about right for a street car, you see guys really start to struggle with grip after that. Especially in these torque happy sixesbuttrock.gif.

Hahaha very true. I'd add an inverse friendship occurs with Police as well. Or it could be getting friendlier depending on how you look at it :bopp:

+1 for detune. If your asking the question, for mine, that's enough to say you will kill yourself and/or others with 450rwkw.

But good onya for havin sense enough to bring it to discussion mate.

My question would be "how much can it really be de-tuned?"

I mean the thing will flow so much air with the hardware that's on it that there is no real way it could be detuned too much surely? otherwise it"ll run like a bag of shoite!

I could be wrong but the lowest power tune of the three that he has in the flash box is probably about as low or "de-tuned" as a set up like this will be hey?

No matter what that is always going to be a very powerful car.

Looks great by the way mate.

I say buy it! just take it easy as everyone has said and try to be as mature as you can. If you want something that's fast on the street get something alot less powerful as a 400+ rwkw car will be slow at street speeds anyway (ie too much wheel spin below 100KPH).

These cars should be on the autobahns in Germany.

Could be detuned back to whatever you really want it to be... Run no boost, and little fuel and it'll be NA...
