Hi All,

Im relativity new to xr6t’s and I am very keen in purchasing one after owning an R33 skyline for 18 months.

Ive been mainly looking at BA’s but may have a look at FG’s - if I can find at a decent price.

Basically ive done a bit of research on some mods which would include:

f6 intake

Pod filter

Full 3.5" system

Flash tune & box

Upgrade the injectors

Possible up grades as well would be Larger Inter cooler, New fuel Pump and value springs.

Budget is around 3k-4k for mods.

As I am noob to xr6ts am I heading in the right direction with these mods? what type of power would I be expecting?

I am from Perth anyone know of any recommended tuners south of the river?

Lots of questions I know but any halp would be really appreciated

Jacob

Ba's and fg's two way different cars I owned an ba and now an fg and defenetly would go the fg. If u do 3 to 4g's worth of mods should get u over the 300 mark I would think :beerchug: If u do go the ba u will need to upgrade valve springs which are about 900 fitted.

Good luck with it all :spoton:

Wats your budget for the car it self??

Welcome mate

this is the best place to start

Here

My advice, try for a BF mk II at a minimum. but Test drive a BA, BF and FG though.

Thanks guys im probably looking to spend 25k max on the car plus 3-4k on mods so maybe the BA and BF are more in my price range.

So if I go the BA/BF model the first Mod upgrade would be value springs?

Out of the mods I listed above what would be most suitable for more power and reliability at the same time?

I would then go the bf over the ba just because they have the better internals and then u wont have to change the valve springs. I would go dump and cat, intercooler kit, rapid, plazmaman,pw ect some injectors and a tune that should be around the 3,4 grand mark and should get u over 300rwk and will be safe.

full exhaust from turbo

60lb injectors

Tune

Spring Valves (if I end up getting a BA)

Look the way to go for now I guess.

and most most of important- finding the car lol if anyone is selling a ba/bf/fg with less than 80,000KM for around 20k-30k,

BF2, under 3k on mods and tuning and you'll have 300rwkw.
