Hey guys I got a 06 bf mk2 xr6t ute, I am fitting wheels and looking to lower the front about 25mm and the rear 40 mm.

Can anyone give me an idea on how much the fronts will camber in? Also Will I need a camber kit to reduces the amount of negative the lowering causes?

Cheers

Yes you will.

Probably end up with best part of -2deg .

Depends on the amount of camber up front you have whether only shims are required or the full camber/caster kit.

I have a 07 BF2 xr6t ute and it is lowered with king springs in the front 40mm drop and reset leaves rear 60mm drop and the camber change wasnt even worth worrying about. Just do the lowering and then see how bad it is, if need be then get the camber kit otherwise dont worry.

Each vehicle is different, I lowered mine of SL fronts and it was at least -2deg camber, so I put a camber kit in it. I've heard of others not needing one though...

At least a couple hundred but someone should come along with a proper price. Senna_T might be the man to talk to, you should PM him.

Depends if you can get away with just using shims or you need a full kit.

Kmac Caster Kits

Shims come in sets, usually a good suspension shop will have the correct ones on hand. The Kmac kit requires a bit more work, couple hours labour.

Being a ute the rear stays at 0 which, (as long as you have same size tyres all round) means you can put the fronts on the rear to square them off again.
