Didn't someone run a 1/4 mile in an FG F6 then turn the torque reduction off and run .2 or .3 faster? That could be the difference between a 10 second car and an 11 second car. I can't see the ZF tune not having any torque reduction otherwise it would effect the longevity of the box.Just would be a nice compo!

Don't quote me on it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is possible.

Hmm me thinks that half a sec seems a but much. 0.2 maybe!

How long are your ZF gearbox taking to change? I know mine in normal mode, slurs a bit but in manual mode its not too bad. I would say 0.1/0.2 change? From what I've felt in the differentiation of gear-changes since STD... I tend to be more confident of the possibility that it will... It immediately felt quicker, sharper & precise changes. You get a perfect run and with a faster shifting gearbox you've got a better time I say. But go for it! Would be good to see some individual results. Will definitely do a fresh quarter mile run before and after! Could even see if the new tune could be put over the top of the valet tune in my XCAL3, I could change tunes between runs...Oh damn just remembered I don't have the gear for 11 second quarters and got booted last time. Hmmm... Edited 16/08/11 02:35 PM by -SteveR-
