The brake kit was ordered 8th July, told it's been freighted already. Rotors, braided hoses etc have been here for 2 weeks.

Once all the kids winter sports are done for the year, and move into our new place next month, I might get my weekends back, but if the surfs up the only cruising I'll be doing will be along a nice long wall down at Trigg or Scabs :-). That's usually only AM though, afternoons are all good.

When the great Perth spring weather hits nothing better than a Sunday afternoon drive up in the hills or along the coast.

Got any cruises planned in the next month or two. Pretty keen to meet some of you WA guys. Pictures I've seen of your cars look real nice.

That's an awesome job you've done there, the Black/White combo looks awesome. The only bit I don't like (maybe its just the lighting) is the silver around the fog lights. The chrome around the Windows and Headlights is good but there's too much around the fog lights...

On the subject of G6ET mods, I saw one in Seduce around Strathfield yesterday afternoon with an XR spoiler added on...

The silver around the fogs is actually more of a grey(same as upper and lower grill) that the 50th models have that is different to the normal G6ET which is much lighter.

Toyed with the idea of having this grey repainted in gloss black to match the other black trims around the doors/side mirrors.

You can get away with the silver on white or even color code it but if you put an XR spoiler on a G6 you will be banned from the forum immediately not to mention probably harassed and even spat on by the general public. Be warned..

Went the G6ET because I don't like spoilers, amongst other reasons . I love the boot lip we have gives us class.

Cheers dude for the nice words..

Remember reading on here before I picked my car up, someone made a comment "you will find excuses to drive the car, any excuse, it's that nice to drive", well I have that problem now. Just Love It.

The black wheels with the ride height work well. Wheels cause they are in black, look bigger than 19s.

Looks **** hot. guys at the bowling club must be jealous :stirthepot:

Every one of your mods is quality and enhances the overall package. wouldnt change a thing

Like the way you went for a safe, conservative tune rather than all out. something ill follow when the money permits.

Cheers, good thing about white is goes with any colour cardigan.

I spent alot of money in the original purchase so wanted to protect my investment, especially now that many parts of my car are now not covered by warranty. I don't have a lot of money, may seem thay way, but I had one chance to do it right so I tried to do my mods with quality parts, that will last, and the tune needed to protect these.

Had 3 years of pain after accident(2008) had to sell my car(modded VZ LS1 M6) as couldn't drive a manual anymore with badly smashed up hands/wrists. So this is compensation from accident and having to sell my car, which I had spent lots of money over 4 years on mods.

Once the brakes are done that's it.

I don't want to keep going back for this and that, hopefully I have done it right.

Gotta tell you this forum has been my inspiration and bible for my choices. Even so I did make some mistakes so you need to factor in extra money I think for any hiccups that occur along the way.
