Have been looking for a few weeks trying to find a towbar for the FG that didn't require the bumper to be cut.

Found one made by Boronia Towbars Ph0397522642, which bolts straight up with no cutting or modification (even though the instructions say it does require bumper cut  )

Part number FOR064XR suits BA-FG rated at 1600kg.

The complete kit including wiring harness, 7 pin plug & chrome ball was $300 from Bob Parkes Mufflers in Townsville.

Took about 2 hrs to fit, very well made, had no issues with hole alignment.

god dammit, I wish my ute was fitted with that.

I hate the cutout, I remember a thread a while ago with people looking for this type of towbar.

thanks for the find.

My BF2 ute came with one like that, im glad there is no cutout. That plug that comes with it does it plug into the wiring loom or is it wired in.

Mine which was wired in got ballsed up by the idiot who did it and I had to redo it. I noticed you can obviously get a plug in one from fraud.

No idea about sedans, give them a ring and ask for some info.

The wiring was a plug in kit with no cutting or soldering.

Only thing I had to do was connect the trailer plug to the cable, google "trailer plug wiring" for sites with wiring diagrams.

No way... I got rid of this one and went for the original.. Looks way cleaner with the cutout and more original.. Heck it is original...

Hey I was just wondering how you ended up going with this bar? I just rang boronia towbars and they seem to think that the part number you supplied was for Ba-bf, but the fg needs the cutting. Just wanted to be sure...
