For those wondering why my brake pads didn't dust up - I'm using Race Brakes RB24 pads. I have rba 4000 slotted rotors as well - I wouldn't say are phenomenal - but they do a reasonable job. I really got the combo to get rid of brake shudder :beerchug:

Your brakes are good Gary, don't you go worrying about that.

At least they dont smoke like they used to. :turboboink:

I'd get a skim over the discs before putting in the new pads Rudiger cause it sure sounded like there is a hell of a lot of the Bendix's stuck to them. :stirthepot:

Gaz & Adam outstanding job guys well organised, planned and executed. I dont go on runs very often, because of my awkward social skills, but when I do and what I see from you guys and all the other guys helping out is bloody fantastic.

As for the run well that was pretty ordinary wasn't it.:spoton: :spoton:

Dags, yeah your right. I think they are an excellent pad but too high a metal content.

The run was good and you should come out more.

Yeah great cruise had a ball buttrock.gif

Highlights would have to be dre's temporary lapse of common sense handing me the keys to his beast, god that thing moves and sounds sooo good. The idea of me running out my warranty is officially dead and buried.

Also the two limo's leading the charge into Eildon lol (before I realized I was running low on fuel bangcomputer.gif), Dags I know I was sh*tting myself most of the way don't know about you.

Hats off to all the organisers, very well run day look forward to the next one. Vids!

You got the chance to drive this beauty?

I was feeling like that before lunch cruise, but after Nakkas insisted that I just leave it in performance mode I had the best of more control and feel of the road than with the gear changes. :3gears:

If you had a manual I envy you.

Now gotta buy new shoes..

Yeah took it for a blast at the start while everyone was at BP.

I left it in performance mode the whole time and it didn't really miss a beat, I couldn't see any benefit in manual mode through the twisties. It's good for roll ons and maybe on the strip but that's about it imo, I think some of the guys were using it but.

I left mine in performance mode for the twisties, went great.

Dags did a great job up front, I lost a bit of pedal feel towards the end and dropped back but still had a ball!

I used to leave it in perf mode but I found Rusty always had the jump on me, plus the 800 nm of torque has sort or fried the changes between 3rd and 4th. So now I manually shift. Its alot easir to drive and a lot less turbo lag.

Now Rusty doesnt have the jump on me.....SUFFER!!!

maybe I should have tried manual mode, was hard working chasing you through the last set of twisties. Probably a good thing I didn't have better brakes, I was having a ball lol
