Hey just wondering what battery the G6ET should have? Mine is a 430CCA, my uncle works for Ford and thought that the G6ET should have a battery with more CCA's, the 430CCA being used in the XT.

Came out this morning to a partially flat battery so it wouldn't start.

When I changed the one in my BA it was supposed to be 550CCA - that's what I got, only replaced one in 6 years....

Uncle was saying they have a problem with the elec seat switch sticking and draining power, have to get it looked at. Battery is on charge at home so I had to drive the Late model camira to work!

I've done 16k in almost 2 years my G6ET sits a lot and factory battery is still good, might need to dig further if yours loses charge

If the switch stuck it would also be driving part of the seat to one position which may not be where you want it so you'd probably notice. Pretty sure I've got 550 or more CCA can't remember.

When I say switch I mean the one under the plastic sill. After around 15mins the car switches power off to the seat, if the switch sticks the seat remains powered.

It had only been sitting for around 6-7hrs, but as mentioned he was saying if the switch sticks the seat is drawing power constantly.

A couple of times my stereo has stayed on after I locked the car, no idea why and only noticed cause it was loud. Not sure if its common but over night that would probably drain your battery.
