EPH 612 quote me if I'm wrong but I'm 99% sure I've seen your T for sale on one of the websites or in unique cars (can't remember where)

is that right?

Hey Meno yeah its up for sale in Unique cars (pretty cheap advertising if anyones selling) wanna probably upgrade to BF mkII or Fg. asking top $$ but no rush to sell, plus still getting it tuned, A1 for whoever wants to inherit the Green machine at only 56 000kms (03 model!!) while im on it if any ones interested I know im in tassie but im prepared to bring it to mainland SA, VIC, NSW for a sale.

Hey just a follow up to previous post peeps, Is there any benefit in tunning with SCT as apposed to VCM suit?

Probably not expensive if VCM as correct me if I'm wrong but no flash tuner outlay. No you can't hop between tunes and clear codes etc but how many actually do that? I suspect most would have the flash tuner sitting in it's original box until the next tune - I know mine does.

Hey Bomber I was just re reading your quote and I think I miss enterpreted what you said. Were u saying that $1000 for first time VCM suit tune was expensive or a fair price?

An SCT box and custom tune will cost you around $1500, but then you own the box of course and can flash the stock tune back in etc. If that doesn't worry you, then $1000 for a high performance tune is pretty good value.

seriously bud I would make the trek over to vic for a custom tune ...................but I really dont think your 5 speed is gunna like any of it so maybe off load this car unless u want a box replaced very soon 5speeds were made of glass and t56 swop over will run u a few k easy that's the 6speed manual.

but if u do chose to get a tune coupla hundred kms of driving for a good tune is a truck load better than a few kms for a chit tune :spoton:

I drive past at least 4 places to get a tune on my way to my desired location its all worth it :drinks:

yes, we have both types of the software, we choose the sct over the vcm on the fords but on holdens use vcm over sct, we believe in using the best tool for the job.
