not really fair comparo though is it?

I mean they are comparing a bog stock camaro to the 302 BoSS which is basically a fairly well modified version of the muzzy.

I wonder how the bog std muzzy would have gone?

Actually it would've been quite interesting if they did.Although the Zo6 and the ZR1 would've beaten the Mustang,

the 6.2L is found in the "lower" Corvette model range.

Actually the standard 5.0L is pretty much "even stevens" with the 6.2L SS in the 1/4 mile.Infact most American reviews have seen the 5.0L Mustang beat the SS in the 1/4 mile drags.

If the SS Camaro is a high performance edition, why isn't fair to compare it with the smaller cubed, warmed up 302 Boss?

TimeT, nice vid mate, love the mustang....... :icon_ford:

ZR1 would beat it, but not sure the ZO6 would be faster, happy to be proved wrong though :beerchug:

Regardless, wish we had these American only cars (at US prices....) here in addition to our somewhat less attractive sedans :crybaby:

The Boss 302 is faster around Laguna Seca than a BMW M3 & costs a smidge over $40k or just under $50k if you get the track version. It's a purists muscle car - pretty crude inside but a hell of an engine.

LOL - the G6 series just needs more chrome at the front :stirthepot:

The 'stang is nice from the side and front though - and sounds brilliant....... :yahoo:

I would love to have a drive of that stang.

A modern V8 that revs like that would be a very nice thing indeed.

I didn't realize the SS Camaro was a high performance job I thought it was pretty much the std one they make.

I stand corrected.

Cheers.
