I have just blown the Turbo so my question is if I was to take the turbo off is it possible to still drive the car day to day?, would it still drive like a non turbo xr6? the only reason I ask is at the moment I don't have the money to replace the turbobut if I can still drive to work etc etc until I can afford one I will do that.Sorry but I don't know a lot about motors and stuff if you could give me some advice I would really appreciate it !Cheers

If you could give me some info on this it would be really appreciated.Thanks.

Prob run like crap due to the turbo motor having lower compression and might also throw codes and go limp mode.. That's just my opinion though but sure Mick would know better

Just be patient my car has been off the road since April last year, pull the turbo out yourself save alot in labour.
