Hey guys,

I am looking at ordering some Rota Torque wheels for my xr6t

http://www.option1garage.com.au/NewWheels.htm

18x8.5 +20 with 225/40/18 fronts

18x9.5 +25 with 245/40/18 rears

With Federal 595 evo rubber all round for about 2 grand.

I will be upgrading the brakes to 4pot 355 fronts and pbr single rear at the same time and I have used the wheel/tyre comparer and they should fit over the brakes and nicely in the guards. I already have my rear guards rolled.

I just wanted to make sure I got my calculations right and the wheels will fit.

Cheers,

Pissant

Why fit wider rims and have such skinny Tyres?

225 on the 8.5 in rim is too skinny...

Ford fits 245 on an 8 inch wide rim... Do you want the stretched look?

Also 225/40/18's are probably not load rated so would be illegal...

Rota are good value; I bought some for my STi a few weeks ago.

They are light weight; I was surprised.

As a guide you should be running 245 on the front, and 275 on the rear.
