Sorta feels like when traction control kicks in.Yeah I knew how to do it, was still a bitch, as I said before the first 2 came off fairly easily, it was just the last one that gave me grief.. The ribbed bits didn't want to budge..Was this caused by fuel pump? And thanks for reply.

I didnt have any problems with fuel surge of lean out even on 15/16 lbs of boost.

Does the cradle need to move up and down? Is this what gives you the fuel reading on the gauge? If not, I don't really see why you couldn't just extend the cradle to as low as it will go, and cut the hose to that length keeping it at its maximum depth, and not having any surge issues.. The cradle doesnt need (unless you knock the bottom of the tank) to move but it will allow the cradle to seat properly in the bottom of the tank, the extra length in the hose prevents it from kinking.Attached is a pic from this threadPic Shows where mine is notched, the notch is the size of a 5c coin (I used a dremel) and the hose loops around off the pump and up to the outlet port. Might try that on the walbro, drop it in and see how it goes.. Might also see if I can get another std cradle and try and pull off the std corrugated line and try and fit it to the walbro and see how that goes.. Heat it again in boiling water when you resinstall it. I still use a clamp on the stock line as I dont trust it on the walbo outlet
