Was driving today and an engine light come on and I sh*t myself, found out it's only emissions light, indicating that the Cat is faulty..

Which makes sense as I have just fitted the dump and new cat. So would this be the O2 sensor picking this up? And how do I remove the light?

Back to ford?

Cheers guy's and thanks for the helpful info.

Sam

ford or any one with a scan tool can clear it, but it will come back next time the diagnostic trip occurs, you need to either fit a stock cat or have the tune done to rectify it

Hey Mark,

Ces fitted the 3.5inch exhaust saturday, which im happy with, very good quality unit. Sound is good, although a bit droney at 2000rpm, but you can't have power without some downsides.

Im booked in to tune car 7.30am tomoz, so fingers crossed, all goes well.. Will upload graphs after.

Did you tune yours today?

Had some issues with injectors this morning! Dropped it off at Hi torque for them to fit injectors and tune, got a call mid morning saying one of my new ID725 injectors is faulty straight out of the box! This put me in a spot of bother as I need this car today for work! And I didn't want to leave it over night while I sort out issue with supplier of the injectors and get a replacement.

Kent came back after an hour with a solution, they scrounged up another 725 for them to tune with for the day.

Although after tuning was done he would have to remove the 725's and put my std injectors back in and put the SCT back to stock setting's so I could drive the car home. With the tune obsviously saved into the SCT module.

When I get my injector replacement (hopefully tomorow) ile fit the 725's back in and hit the high boost option on the SCT module. Problem solved.. :)

When Kent called back in the arvo with the result I was stoked! He said it spun up a surprising 500rwhp, which if my calculation is correct is 373rwkw??

Obsviously they had to back it off as std fuel pump was on it's limit, so backed it off to 357 which I was overly happy with! Boost is on 16psi Will upload graph soon.

They are higly recommending fitting the upgrade fuel pump for safety though.

In the end very happy with Ken and Chris at the shop, for going the extra mile and helping me get my car done in one day and back on the road.

Only thing was driving the thing home and not getting to put the foot down!

Loving how easy it is to make power with these things! This is making another 50rwhp than my previous 200sx which was a pig to drive on the street.. this thing is a true streeter! :beerchug:

Great result mate. Just as well you are doing your fuel pump Marky or that would have held you back :spoton:
