Yeah my problem seems all fixed from just the spark plug gaps! Speedo fine, no lights come on etc. If it comes back, I'll check my ABS unit, because the other bloke on this forum just replaced his ABS unit and bam! fixed!

Moose didn't you mention elsewhere there was a faulty speed sensor as well? That would certainly explain the issues in this thread...can't see how spark plugs would be the cause of any of these symptoms :idunno:

Has yours been playing up since the snowies cruise Smurf? Wasn't that the issue then - a speed sensor had fallen out of the bracket on one of the front wheels?

Yes there was a speed sensor unplugged (or not clipped properly) but that only solved the speed sensor issue, it was still lighting up the dash and killing the speedo etc, the fix to that was checking the spark plug gap!

Toxic07 - I feel your pain, I really do - I hope it gets sorted sooner rather than later!

Ye since the last cruise...

I ended up passing a battery world the other day and felt like getting my battery checked. It's the original from factory 2 years ago..

They measured it and only half the capacity was left which apparently causes faults. I ended up putting in a dry cell and It starts up perfect and haven't had any issues yet. Apparently before it was putting strain on the alternator which causes the volts the alternator produces to drop causing errors and faults.

For example even now if I go to take off on a hill and release the clutch to early and the car almost stalls it I still get errors and faults for abs and all sorts of crap.. It has to do with voltage drop.
